Classy label for this Chilean white wine. Wow ! Loads of fruits in the nose. Tropical fruits, grapes and mild sourness. The sourness shows a little more in the taste, at first. Covers the sweetness of the fruits. Some nice dry sharpness without being dry in the finish. A little watered-down but overall a real nice Sauvignon Blanc and quite enjoyable for our first of 2015.

Nice bottle, written blended from Chardonnay and Semillon grapes. Sweet fruity nose with hints of honeydew and cantaloupe. The taste is sweet as well, but not syrupy or offensive. A well-balanced dryness in the mouthfeel makes thing nice to sip. Flavours are fruity, but not as intense as the aromas, and with some mild yeast lingering. This Chile Sparkling is quite good for those who like a fruity one with a nice dry side to it. Very drinkable.

Cono Sur is always a sure thing for us, price/quality and Sauvignon Blanc is one of the whites we like to enjoy with grilled chicken. This one has a nice sweet grape nose with hints of pears. The mouthfeel is pretty wet and refreshing with a slight dryness in the finish. It is nicely mixed between the sweetness, the mild bitterness and some very light sourness for the taste with notes of citrus (especially grapefruit). Good fruitiness all-over, but this 2011 version seems a little watered-down compared to the previous years we have had (gets much better as it warms up a bit). Still, a great buy for when many people come over (bigger bottle for cheap).

Part of the Casablanca Estate Reserva series (aged for 6 months in french oak barrels). Golden colour with full, fresh fruity (pears, grapes) and sweet aromas. The taste really comes out with food. Without it, slight watery finish. With it, well-balanced between the sweetness and mild sourness. All fruity with hints of alcohol. One of the better Chardonnay we have had, and a sure thing for the price. Was good with the creamy pastas we had.
