Nice white bottle, which is quite different from their popular Sparkling green bottle. This inexpensive German one is typical of this brand. Nothing fancy, easy to drink. Aromas of pear, apple and honey, so fruity and sweet. The taste has this sweetness and very mild dryness in the finish. Light yeast lingers. Nothing crazy offensive, but not a classy bubbly.

A German Sparkling made of Riesling… nice ! Beautiful nose that is slightly on the sweet-side, but without too much yeast and with a nice dry grape feel. The mouthfeel is well-balanced between starting thick and creamy, but finishing with a good dryness. The taste is like the aromas, blending the sweetness at first with the decent dryness of the grapes. Very mild yeast lingers. Quite nice overall with the well-hidden yeast and the mix of sweetness, without being syrupy, and the dryness.

Baden Gewürztraminer 2011

Sweet fruity nose with alcohol dryness. After breathing, notes of pears come out. The taste is sweet, but not too syrupy. Seems like this wine has lots of tiny bubbles all around the glass (so lots of air). Mild sourness blending things and the alcohol also shows in the finish (again creating some light dryness). Ugly label, but decent easy-drinking Gewürztraminer with lots of character when sipping. For those who prefer them sweeter than dry.
