Celebrating the end of 2018 with this Rosé, thanks to friends sharing this one. Clean pink colour with strawberry nose and hints of cherries and mild alcohol. The mouthfeel is pretty dry. Very mild taste of strawberries and yeast lingering. Some well-blended bitterness. Quite easy to drink with everything nicely balanced.

We do not usually do expensive, true Champagne, but today we are celebrating our 5th year anniversary together. The white head of this one seems creamier than most and has better retention. Yeasty aromas giving hints of nuts and notes of apples and white grapes. Was expecting a dry mouthfeel, but no. The taste is on the sweet fruity side (called nectar, go figure). Peach, mild tropical fruit, apples and light yeast in the finish. So, if someone likes a sweet-fruity Champagne, this is quite a good one. For us, we have had good fruity Sparkling recently that were a quarter of the price, just a tad quality under this one.

Creamy white head with a decent yeast nose, blended with sour citrus notes and sweet grapes. The taste starts on a big sour punch, but goes into the light fruit. Wet mouthfeel with a little dryness in the finish. This is one of the only Champagne we have had, bought here (and not France) that we really enjoyed. Very well-balanced overall.

One of the most carbonated bubbly we have had so far. Results, hard to pour. Only a bit at a time. Cork was hard to hold down. Yeast smelling, with eventual mild notes of honey and berries. Pretty sour taste at first, but then, a little sweetness appears. Hints of strawberries that finish short, with just a tad of yeast lingering. The middle has this bland grape flavour which is pretty dull and inappealing. Nothing close to being worth the price this is.

This champagne gives out yeasty aromas with hints of old fermenting orange juice. The taste is quite sour with some citrus notes, but not much else. Mild yeast giving a nutty feel lingers in the aftertaste. Really nothing special about this one. Another wine from France that they probably do not like, so they export it to another country. Lucky us !!

Well balanced pricy real Champagne. Mild fruity scent and a little sourness in the taste. Light dry aftertaste but overall, smooth and very well-balanced.

This champagne was perfect to start a new year.
